Launchpad: LAKIC and LBIC open their doors
L3iC launched the LICET-Amith Kothari Incubation Centre and the Lcube Busa Incubation Centre under the theme Innovating for Impact.
On 9 February 2026 the Loyola Inclusive Innovation Impact Centre (L3iC) launched two incubation centres: the LICET-Amith Kothari Incubation Centre (LAKIC) and the Lcube Busa Incubation Centre (LBIC).
The launch brought together faculty, founders, mentors and students under the theme Innovating for Impact. A panel discussion explored what it takes to build ventures that are both scalable and socially responsible, followed by felicitations and a walkthrough of the new incubation space.
The centres now offer co-working desks, private cabins, a boardroom, computing and fabrication labs, and access to a growing network of mentors and funders.
